Muralune Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Muralune is a wallpaper browsing app developed by Brian Ali. This policy explains how the app handles information when you browse, save, and share wallpapers.

Information handled by the app

How information is used and shared

Muralune uses this information to show wallpapers, remember your choices, save images, and respond to support requests. The app does not run its own analytics or advertising service. Requests to Wallhaven and ui-avatars.com are made over HTTPS. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies. Information you send through email or GitHub is shared with those services and the developer.

Your choices and deletion

You can remove a saved Wallhaven API key and reset app preferences in Muralune's settings. You can delete saved wallpapers from your device's gallery. Clearing Muralune's app data or uninstalling it removes its local favorites and preferences. To request deletion of information you sent directly to the developer for support, email brianali427@gmail.com. Information sent to Wallhaven, ui-avatars.com, GitHub, or your email provider is subject to those services' retention and deletion practices.

Security and retention

Muralune uses HTTPS for the external services described above. Local app data remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the app. Support messages may be retained while needed to address your request or meet legal obligations; you may request deletion using the contact address below. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

Muralune is not directed to children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the developer, contact us and we will review and delete it as appropriate.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated version will be posted here with a new date. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact Brian Ali at brianali427@gmail.com.
